Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup kidney beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup pinto beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup black beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ingredients: Sort and rinse beans. Chop onions and mince garlic.
  • Cook the Beef: In a large pot or Dutch oven, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Sauté Aromatics: Add chopped onions and garlic to the beef. Cook until onions turn translucent.
  • Combine Ingredients: Stir in kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, tomato sauce, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Simmer the Mixture: Reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30–45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Serve & Enjoy: Adjust seasoning if needed and serve warm with bread or as a side dish.
