Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound 450 g ground beef
  • 1 can of baked beans
  • 1 can of diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Ground Beef
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up into small pieces with a wooden spoon for even cooking.
  • Add Vegetables and Spices
  • Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the vegetables are soft and fragrant.
  • Mix in the ground cinnamon, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.
  • Mix the Bean Base
  • Add the baked beans and diced tomatoes to the skillet. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  • Bake in the Oven
  • Transfer the mixture to a Dutch oven or large baking dish.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 250°F (120°C) for 2 to 3 hours, until the flavors meld together and the beans are tender.
  • Serve
  • Serve warm with crusty bread or cornbread to soak up the juices.
